The Session & Beyond
On photo day, you get to be fully in the moment while I capture it all — the big feelings, the small details, and everything in between. Afterward, you’ll receive a beautiful online gallery filled with hand-edited, high-resolution images ready to download, share, and treasure for years to come. My smaller sessions have a 2-3 week turnaround time. And my weddings have gallery previews within the week of your wedding and the full gallery within 8-15 weeks.

The sooner, the better! Popular dates — especially for weddings and fall family sessions — tend to book up quickly. I typically recommend reaching out 9–12 months in advance for weddings and 2–3 months ahead for portrait sessions.

The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident! Choose outfits that feel like you — nothing too stiff or restrictive. I recommend leaning toward neutral, earthy, or muted tones, as they photograph beautifully and keep the focus on your connection and emotions.
If you need a little extra inspiration, I’ve got you covered! I’ll send you a styling guide with tips and color palettes, and we can even plan outfits together to make sure everything feels cohesive and true to your story.
About one to two months before your wedding, I’ll send you a detailed wedding questionnaire to learn about all the important details — from family dynamics to must-have photos.
Once you’ve filled it out, we’ll set up a meeting (in person or virtually) to go over everything together. From there, I’ll create a custom, typed-up timeline that fits seamlessly with your wedding plans. This ensures there’s plenty of time for every moment you care about most, while still leaving space for you to breathe, be present, and fully enjoy your day.
If there’s rain in the forecast, I always leave room in my schedule to reschedule your session so we can still get the best possible experience.
That said, a light sprinkle can actually be really beautiful — and I’m always up for embracing a little rain if you are! 🌧️ As long as you don’t mind, we can lean into the cozy, moody vibes with umbrellas, jackets, and a spirit of adventure.

- Portrait & smaller sessions: Your full gallery will be ready within 2–3 weeks.

Whether it’s a lakeside session in the Adirondacks, a wedding across the state, or an adventure a few states (or countries!) away, I’m always up for capturing your story wherever it takes me.
Travel fees vary depending on location, and I’ll walk you through all the details when you inquire so there are no surprises along the way. And here’s a little bonus: if your wedding or session happens to line up with one of my bucket list destinations, I’m happy to offer a special discount — because photographing a dream location is a gift for me too! 💛
That said, I truly believe our imperfections are what make us beautiful and unique, so I focus on natural, authentic editing that celebrates who you are.
If you’d like specific, detailed edits beyond my standard touch-ups, I can absolutely do that for an additional fee, which depends on the number and complexity of edits requested.
On your wedding day, I shoot with dual-slot cameras, which means every photo is saved to two SD cards at the exact same time — so right from the start, there’s already a backup.
When I get home, I immediately back everything up to an external hard drive while also keeping all the RAW files on the original SD cards. I don’t clear those cards until your final gallery has been safely delivered.
This multi-layered process gives me total peace of mind — and ensures your memories are protected every step of the way.
